A few guidelines...

1. Translate the ideas presented into your own understanding of The Divine or reality as you understand it. For example, I might write of "reincarnation" to describe how we exist in some way beyond the apparent limits of our lifetime. Other people might better understand "genetic memory" or "the collective unconscious." Everyone has a different perspective on The Divine. This is intentional, sacred and purposeful. Honor your own understanding and honor the understandings of others as well.

2. Take what you want and leave the rest. The angels do not claim to have all the answers, nor do I. When I am spiritual storytelling they often remind me, "this person has a far deeper and more nuanced understanding of the subject than you." Since this blog is going out to a general audience, experts on certain subjects may read what I've presented and find it lacking or apparently inaccurate. I welcome your feedback if you are called to share.

3. Paradox is the rule. Or what I call "The Great Both/And." One of the reasons the angels chose me to share their teachings is because I am comfortable with ideas that seem, at first glance, to be contradictory. Science is full of contradictions, unanswered questions and puzzles. So is spirit! What is really exciting is the idea of truths or aspects of reality we don't yet have the power to imagine. What questions have we not yet asked?

4. Exceptions are also the rule. All the guidance and suggestions the angels give us for living and healing our world are general in nature with an understanding that exceptions always exist. If something you read doesn't seem to fit with what you know to be true for you, refer to #2 above.
